‘The Impact of Research’

At a reception in October 2024, the VMHF showcased how research in the Vincent Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mass General is benefitting women’s health. Held at the beautiful Paul S. Russell, MD, Museum of Medical History and Innovation at Mass General, the event featured presentations by VMHF Trustees and Vincent OB/GYN faculty, including Jeffrey Ecker, MD, MGH Chair Emeritus of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Andrea Edlow, MD, MSc, the newly appointed Vice Chair for Research, and Bo Rueda, PhD, Director of the Vincent Center for Reproductive Biology (VCRB). In a lively Q&A session, the 93 guests in attendance had the opportunity to ask Vincent OB/GYN physicians and scientists questions about their work as well as tour the VCRB, a state-of-the-art lab where discoveries about genes, molecules and cells are leading to innovative clinical treatments in women’s health.
